How to Redeem a Fortnite Code (Official Page Only)
Last checked: Nov 4, 2026

Redeem product codes only through Epic’s own store or launcher and follow the instructions for the product you have. Fortnite Gift Cards and V-Bucks Cards can use their own flows. Pirate Shop Access is not a code; it is activated from the in-game Item Shop banner.
Quick answer
Start from Epic’s store or support pages, sign in only on Epic’s domain, and enter a code only in the flow that matches the product. Do not paste a Pirate Shop Token into a code box; no token redemption code exists.
The Epic redemption page
For an Epic Games product code, use the Epic Games Store code redemption page or the redemption option in the Epic Games Launcher. Epic's support instructions explain the supported steps.
A Fortnite Gift Card or V-Bucks Card may use a separate Epic card flow. Read the card's official instructions and confirm you are on the correct account before submitting anything. Never enter a code into a giveaway page that is unrelated to the issuer.
Step by step
- Identify whether the item is an Epic product code, a Fortnite Gift Card, or a V-Bucks Card.
- Open the corresponding Epic redemption page or launcher option by navigating to Epic yourself.
- Sign in on Epic's domain and check that the displayed account is the one you intend to use.
- Enter the code only in the matching field and follow the confirmation shown by Epic.
Do not send a code to another person or post a readable screenshot. If the issuer's instructions point to a platform-specific redemption, follow that platform's genuine site instead of guessing.
What a real code looks like
Code format depends on the product and issuer. We do not publish sample codes, patterns that could be mistaken for valid credentials, or a universal format. Use the instructions packaged with the product and the official redemption page for that code type.
A Pirate Shop Token is not a code at all. It is an in-game reward activated from PLUNDER THE SHOP. Read the token overview and the Pirate Shop guide for the real flow.
Why a shop token is not a redeem code
The token reward appears through Battle Royale chest gameplay during Treasure Hunters. When access is available, the game provides a banner in the Item Shop. It is not redeemed by typing a token into Epic's product-code field or a third-party form.
Any page offering a token generator, guaranteed token code, or pay-to-redeem service is making a false claim. See our scam guide for account safety steps.
If a site asked you to paste a code
Stop and check who issued the code and what product it applies to. If you pasted an Epic password or sign-in code into a third-party page, change the password from Epic's own site, secure the linked email, review signed-in devices, and contact Epic Player Support if the account looks unfamiliar.
Do not upload a photo that exposes an unused gift card PIN. When in doubt, ask the seller or issuer through a contact channel you find independently.
